Malamig  ang  simoy  ng  hangin  na  tumatama  sa  makinis  na  balat  ni  Atarah. Sumasabay  naman  sa kanyang  hakbang  ang  pagsayaw  ng  alon  sa  dagat. Papalubog  na  ang  kulay  dugong  araw  nang maisipan  niyang  maglakad-lakad  sa  dalampasigan. Nakangiti  niyang  pinagmasdan  ang  bawat  pares  ng  taong  kanyang  nadadaanan. Kinikilig  siya  sa  isipang  romantiko  ang  oras  na  iyon  para  sa  mga  magkasintahan.

Muling  dumako  ang  kanyang  tingin  sa  payapang  dagat  na ngayon  ay  binalot  na  ng  dilim. Ilang  segundo  din  siyang nakatayo  bago  naisipang  umupo  sa  dalampasigan  at  tumingin sa  langit.
