Reborn: The Allies of Old (Book One)
Nineteen year old Anna Preston appears to lead a life typical for a young woman in modern-day America. But she has a secret. For the past three years she's been seeing shadowy figures mingling with the populace. Made of smoke and vapor with a vaguely human form, they are not overtly threatening, but in the recesses of her mind there are whispers of nightmares long buried and forgotten. Signs are beginning to appear that allude to this threat rising in power once more, but with the alliances largely broken and those still continuing the fight few and far between, the human race is on the precipice of a grave danger that could threaten their very existence. And so it is of dire need for the allies to gather together once more.
