a nerd and his friends are feeling out of place at a party, when Mason notices that a guy is getting a bit too close and personal to a girl (his crush). What should he do?
A bone crunching pulse thumps through the room and bodies squish against each other, fighting to move, like sardines. It well could have been a room full of fish, it smelt that bad. B.O clung to every person and hung thick in the stuffy air; the lights were dimmed, and everything was moving: back and forth, back and forth. This was not my scene, I should be at home, studying or something. I felt like a fish out of water.
"Mason!" one of my friends yelled, pushing against the tide towards me. "Isn't that Brianna?" He points past me and into the thick of the crowd.
I can't tear my eyes away from her. She wears a tight, dark red dress that shows off everything and hair that screams at me to touch it, her long legs are accented by the lack of dress and tanned to perfection. She is beautiful, hot and sexy.
A college guy comes up to her and places his hands where he shouldn't. As he gets closer, she tries to wriggle out of his grip, but he's too strong, too drunk, too dumb to notice. Even from across the room, I feel her discomfort and uneasiness grow with every second.
I shake myself out from watching and decide it's either time that I step back and just let things unfold, or step in and help a damsel in distress.
Dammit! Choose, Mason!
