From 1983 to 1987 I was a young Tanzanian nutritionist working for Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), designated to supervise "Women and Children Education Project" for refugees in SWAPO Liberation movement camps both in Zambia and Angola. There was war, so we were always under heavy guard when travelling because there was always a risk of being blown up by land mines, or being attacked by enemies, against who Namibians were fighting for their independence.
This is my short story about those exciting years.
