Star-Crossed Lovers: two lovers (Jules and Alex) who were meant to cross paths but their love is doomed to fail

Julia "Jules" Ashworth was a freshman in high school when her path crossed with Alexander Prescott, a popular and well liked senior. The two hit it off from the start and quickly became head over heels for each other. They spent all of her freshman year and all of his senior year falling in love. But all of their friends labeled them as star-crossed lovers from the very beginning. Neither of them believed it until tragedy struck at the end of the year. One thing led to another and soon they were screaming at each other and said their final goodbyes. Alex went off to college a couple hours away and Jules moved on with her high school life after healing from the disaster of a breakup.

But let's fast forward four years.

Jules is a popular senior who is student director of the school play and headed straight for valedictorian of her class. And with her gorgeous emerald green eyes and dirty blonde hair, she also has the attention of the school's star quarterback, Jackson Waters. Jules is excited about her future, ready to head off to the college of her dreams and finish off high school with all of her best friends and doing what she loves. Romance and her past lover was the last thing on her mind.

Alex is ready to finish his senior year of college and is excited about his future job in music. His deep sea green eyes, dark brown hair, and broad shoulders have gotten him plenty of attention while attending his college. But now he's ready to move back home for the fall to begin his work with a special music program. His past and how things ended, completely forgotten.

That's until they run into each other at a Drama Banquet one crisp autumn night and old memories and feelings begin arising.
