i knew it was coming,
knew that i wasn't well.

it's all so surprising,

i'm not already in hell.

i should've seen it,

the sun lost it's glow.

but i had my damn sunglasses on,

no one let me know.

i was left all alone,

not a soul ever showed.

you never gave a proper goodbye,

cause i was too busy with my own.

so here's to the madness i've left bottled in my head,

a mistake i've made too many times,

i'm surprised i'm not yet dead.

if love is the name of the game,

i'll take no part in this then.

i've lost that game too many times,

i've already seen the end.
