"You belong to me."
"Yes Alpha Aker."
"Back to that again, are we?" His eyes narrowed and she tried not to squirm under his gaze. She'd need to work on that. "Good. You will continue to address me as Alpha," he instructed, leaning in close. His breath fanned across her cheek and she suddenly found herself having trouble thinking properly. Again, she'd have to work on that.
"Yes Alpha Aker," she sputtered out.
"Good." He stepped away, grinning victoriously. It seemed he did have an effect on his little mate after all. Maybe there was hope for her yet. Pleased by the notion, he moved to the door. "Oh, and Aoife?"
"Yes Alpha Aker?"
"Remember what I said about your little friend."
She hated him again.

Aoife O'Donnell is cursed.
She is reborn only to live the same life over and over again and again. The people change but the story never does: her mother dies at birth, her family abandons her, and the town treats her as an outsider. So, when someone finally shows her any attention, she falls in love with them and they kill her the day of her eighteenth birthday.
But this time, Aoife has a leg up. Born as a werewolf, she already knows it will be her mate that will kill her. All she has to do is figure out who he is and make sure she never sees him again. When he rejects her, it seems like things are finally changing. However, with her new freedom, Aoife slowly begins to piece together the forgotten truth behind her curse and realizes she may not be the victim.
A genetically unique but emotionally lost teenager must figure out who she is within her mixed-up, warring world of Shifters and Wolfstalkers.
*****
It wasn't Maddie's choice to be born a half-breed, half Shifter, half Wolfstalker -- a hunter of Shifters -- and it wasn't her choice to keep her identity a secret. But after trying to attend high school like any normal sixteen-year-old, things quickly spiral south when her Stalker uncle finds out about her and catapults her out of anonymity and into the awareness--or possibly the crosshairs--of The Order of the Wolfstalker. Maddie must think fast and figure out a way to keep herself and her family safe, or risk losing everything. Including her life.
