King Zach II the tyrannic ruler of Scotland disappears in the war against England and his only legitimate heir but daughter Aphena becomes the queen at only 3 days old. She had never met her father and probably never will, but at the young age of six, she was sent to France but will wed the next King of Italy when she come of age.

While this is happening, France is having problems with legitimate and illegitimate children of the King, because two legitimate sons disappeared on a hunting trip, the King gets around and the next King may follow in his father footsteps. The Queen is left to found her son a wife and she decides to give him the next Queen of Greece. 

In Wales, the Queen learns of her sister's disappearing husband and is making an alliance with Spain by marrying her daughter to its next King and learns of the new King of Ireland.
