Shakira has lived in a small town all her life. With her father now being locked up for the murder of Vincent Valentino and her mother not knowing what to do. She meets a new family that will turn her life upside down for the better or worse.

A/n: This prologue is very vital to the story and will either have to be read at the beginning or end. I may place it at both depending on how long this book will be just to remind the reader and tie up lose ends. Be warned this is my first Mafia book but I have read a lot on here (and other places too) and have slightly tweaked the mafia to make it more modernised. Eg meaning none of the woman are gonna be made to sit their look pretty and do shit like have party's and give things to charity I mean seriously?!! Also their will be no we don't hurt woman or innocent children OK? Just a heads up. I guess shit just got real am I right? Anyway this book will contain romance (lots of mature scenes or hinted at haven't decided yet) strong violence, family issues, drama, and action lots and lots of action and most badass characters will swear at times. I mean all of that sounds good doesn't it? Well let's hope so otherwise this books gonna be a complete disaster and I don't want that to happen. So enjoy and tell me what you think.....
