On June 15, 1944 it was the beginning of the war of Saipan. Americans vs. Japanese. The Americans had gone to Saipan which was located on the Mariana Islands. The battle had ended on July 9, 1944 with the Americans winning. World War II was happening at the time so many other wars were happening.

THE OLD KAMIKAZE HEADBAND
This story had its beginning during the Pacific War in 1944, in the eastern part of the British North Borneo territory. It was about a young Japanese Kamikaze pilot who was shot down over the abandoned prisoners ' camp in Sandakan. He was to die when his Zero Fighter plane was down by a sniper but he did not. When he regained his consciousness, he found himself wandering among the smothering fires of Sandakan Town. He was rescued and brought him to the medical post where he was treated as suffering from mental breakdown. He was later listed as missing and never to be found again. Twenty years later, two Japanese tourists came to visit an ex-prisoner at the local hospital whom they said had the old Kamikaze Headband since the end of the Pacific War. When the men acquired the Old Kamikaze Headband, they disappeared into the thin air, leaving behind a bottle of clear liquid which cured his ailments.
