For my English class I had to do a mystery project and one of the options was writing an 8-10 page mystery story, and well I procrastinated and rushed it, but I still like it, so I have decided to post it here.

Types of tears (COMPLETED)
Why do bad things happen to good people? A question that his boy is making himself more then ever this days. From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more. "Why do bad things happen to good people?" "Hi, I'm Noa." Glancing to my right, I realized the girl was sitting next to me. "Um, I'm Delaney." "Nice to meet you. It's nice to finally have another girl to talk to. I've been stuck with these assholes here for three years." "What, did they kidnap you too?" At that, everyone turned to me and it was quiet again. Tyde, of course, looked pissed. I was beginning to think he was mad all the time. "Actually no. Enzo is my boyfriend and I moved here with them when my parents died." Oh, that's awkward. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have-" "No, no. It's okay. I understand. It probably seems like that but I'm definitely here willingly." She laughed awkwardly, trying to break the silence. I snorted, "well that makes one of us." ------ Delaney Withers' father was killed 5 years ago and her world was flipped upside down. Having to quit school and help her mother take care of her younger brother and sister, she thought her life couldn't get any worse. That is until, her life is flipped once more by seven people. When the lights go out (Read Description!!!)
So I'm planning to rewrite this story as I am unhappy with the way it turned out. The ending was rushed, it barely fits the description of a murder mystery, and it's been poorly written with little to no explanation on some details. I will rewrite it once it has been planned out. To those who have read it, thank you for the support, it has really encouraged me to continue writing. Completed!! -- I could hear him running behind me. "HELP!" I started to scream the words repeatedly. I felt like I was the stupid, helpless girl in a horror film. I ran right into a fence and fell down. I got back up and turned around. Blake was right there. He pinned me up against the wood. "You are so stupid!" He chuckled. He grabbed a bottle of some sort and smiled. "Nighty night." He whispered. He sprayed the substance all over me until I blacked out. -- 16 year old Cathy moves from a small Rhode Island town to the big Austin, Texas. When she starts her new school, Cliffside High, everyone despises her. They don't like the same music she does and they don't dress like her. She's an outcast in their book. But when she gets home, she goes to her favorite website and chats with people who love her. Who don't despise her. But, everything changes when a stranger starts to chat with her. He compliments her, makes her feel bubbly. She feels like he loves her, and she loves him. Then things get a little weird when he asks her personal questions. Not thinking twice, she answers all of them. Cathy feels guilty afterward, and never wants to talk to him again. But he wants to meet her. My English Class Works
Beware my creativity with this set of quick reads being made for my English class. These are my first stories ever (writing one so it could be read is making me nervous) so no hate pls and constructive criticism only. If you fancy garbage, this isn't for you; that's how bad this is. Some might be weird and seem drawn out or pulled out of my ass so "bare" with me... Honestly not sure why you might read this but hey, you do you. I mean, you don't need to waste your time reading my assignments.
