The things I knew that were once unethical, were bound to be saintly. The dreams I dreamt once upon a time, seemed to be an epitome of nightmares. The heart I thought I stole long ago, always belonged to someone else. The crimes I have committed all my life, became a handful of lessons that I ought to learn. The world I looked up to once, became a mortal enemy of mine. The family I thought would disown me, fought my battles for me. The life I never imagined I'd live, sadly it became a life I'd rather live than die. Assalamualaikum My Dear Brothers and Sisters of Islam!!! Daw'ah, is to call, request, encourage people to Islam. Now since we're all moderately teens who are shy when it comes to the whole introducing of Islam to others and all, why not take advantage of what we are all good at? Technology!!! This wonderful site, gives us the opportunity to create and post our own writing. I got to thinking, "Hey, while we're at it, why not create an on line book about Islam?" Many of our peers don't understand many of the things that we do, the way we dress, the things we eat, they don't really get why we do it. They're to shy to ask out in the open, so they'll always have that word nagging at the back of their heads going "why." So I have decided to create this book, so that we can inshAllah explain Islam in our own way. Notice that I said "WE". Yep, I am not solely gonna take on this task, I am human and I will mistakes, so feel fee to correct anything I write, contribute and I'll publish it along with the rest of this book also. Come on, STEP RIGHT UP, share your own bit of knowledge, because it will be a form of daw'ah and you'll get rewards, inshAllah.Complete
Beautiful, meaningful lines
If my collection inspires even one person, it would make me delighted knowing that it made a difference. I always had a thing for nice quotes. I used to write them even at a young age. Whenever I see a nice line - be it from a book, celebrity or some other unpopular sources, I feel amazed by them, and then lately, I started writing them down somewhere so as not to forget. Now and then a beautiful line would just pop in my mind, and if I don't have the means to write immediately, I would just try to memorize until I put it down. I write quotes anywhere, if I think that I am going to forget. They are just scattered in places so much so that I feel the urge to bring them together. What's better than to bind them in a book? P.S. except the quotes that are from revealations, i.e. the Qur'an and Sunnah, there are always room for errors in human opinions, so I recommend the readers to use their own sense of judgment as well.
