This story takes place within the world of Aylon, my own custom world originally created for my d&d campaign. Following four unlikely people who were brought together at the whim of a powerful archmage, they now serve him in by performing tasks he calls "The Preparations". Each serving for their own reasons, they have now traveled to the kingdom city Venamir, home to honor bound knights, wine, nobility, and valor, in order to find an ancient treasure known as the 'Soul Map of the Pathfinder'. The kingdom stands in a state of rebuilding, recovering from the recent war as the four stay within its walls, the treasure soon to be found.

This caused the queens to turn to a prophecy starring four dragonlings who might just save them all. Nerve is one of the prophecy dragonlings, who has almost lived his entire life not knowing he has his talons in two mancers. While on the journey to restore peace on Drealite, he learns that not every dragon close to him can be fully trusted, and he cannot let his guard down.
