Mmasello is a free spirited young maiden with a wild streak to her that almost always lands her in trouble. Unlike the village maidens her only desire is to be a warrior much to the horror of the village warriors ( who are all male). This makes her a target of scorn and ridicule for the warriors. If anything that only succeeds in her wanting to be a warrior more than ever.
The trouble begins when her father dies. This forces his family to take his body to his birthplace. What awaits her and her family at her father's birthplace is where her story truly begins.
