He will be hanged. Strung from a five foot rope with candles burned on the branches of the trees to hasten his soul's descent into damnation. He will be burned. Before an audience waiting to hear him screams until his vocal chords melt. And finally he will be sacrificed. A hand reaching into his chest and tearing free his heart.  He knows it. He welcomes it. He deserves this death for he has lost the right to life. And the villagers certainly agree. However, while they believe he needs to die for killing their God, he knows he committed a far worse crime. A crime for which he must be damned. Even if its only to be with her in perdition.

But as he went I noticed his form change and blur, sometimes resembling that of a child before shifting into something much bigger and hairier then morphing back again.
