Elaine has woken in a cell, with an uncertain future, no memories of her past, her family, what she is doing there and why. She doesn't even remember her name.
Day after day she is visited by nurses, provided food and a place to 'stay' if you could call it that. But she has been threatened, she is not safe and she knows it. She meets friends, but who to trust and who not to?
One day, she meets someone, someone who pushes memories back into her brain and forces her to remember. Then her friends start turning against her, some do, some don't. She needs answers, and she needs to avenge the man who did this to her.
