It made me sad to see him this way. I watched as his face relaxed into a fitful sleep again as his coughing subsided. "I'm sorry, Zuko..." I grabbed his hand that felt as though he was holding a fire ball in it and pressed it into my other hand. I laid my forehead against his finger tips and it felt like he was playing with fire. "Get better soon, my prince."

It was then, I was determined to get revenge, to take down the Fire Nation for taking my family away from me. My name is Mari and I will see to it that the Fire Nation burns.

When he was eleven, the Fire Nation raided the Southern Water Tribe, which resulted in his mother's death and his capture, which left his family in agony after losing their mother and older brother. However, three years later, Kaito who was Fourteen unexpectedly returned to the Southern Water Tribe, which left everyone stunned for a bit before welcoming him back. When his family asked what happened to him, he would always avoid answering the questions or just ignore them altogether. He took part in the war with his father and for the past two years had developed not just his water-bending abilities, but also his combat capabilities to the fullest. Before returning home on the order of his father, and traveling to parts of the world, learning different skills.
