Like Sapphires and Emeralds

Xavier Montgomery. Third-year Ravenclaw. Brought up in what can be described as a broken home, by a father who drinks himself blind every night and a mother who is sick of it all.

Alessandra Curseblood. First-year Slytherin. Similar to Xavier, and yet differently, she lives with two people who hold their opinions of what it means to be a good daughter higher than the House Cup in the hands of Slytherin at the End-of-Term Feast at Hogwarts.

Both Xavier and Alessandra can relate to one another, they just didn't know it yet. One day, on the Hogwarts Express, they met, and their journey of a complicated friendship - and later, romance - began.
