This is not a love story, as said in the title. It's a story of hatred, a broken past, drugs, fights, parties, deaths, running away, ditching class, and maybe a kiss on the cheek or two.
Charlie's given up on society, people, the earth in general.
Amy is Charlie's best friend for ten years and counting, and they've been partners in crime the whole time.
Zachary is Charlie's worst nightmare. Quarterback, check. Good looks, check. Trouble, double check.
Maybell is Zachary's girlfriend, soon to be ex. She was once Charlie's best friend, but Amy the drug dealer walked into Charlie's life and they were tore apart. They're still good friends, though.
Coby is Charlie's bully. Nonstop teasing, yelling, torture. But her friends got her back in case of a couple of beat downs.
