Alexia Andrews is your typical normal teenager before the Royal family of her country came to visit her school. Sixteen years ago, the King and Queen lost their daughter when the jealous King from another country came to take the child so they would feel the pain he felt when his wife died from bandits. The King and Queen of Camden were looking for their daughter whom one of their servants took to protect the young Princess until her sixteenth birthday.

Alexia finds a heirloom that the royal Princess was given at birth and she realizes she is the missing Princess. Not wanting to become the Princess, she gives her heirloom to her best friend who poses as her so she could live the free life. But Alexia realizes that they would be able to identify her because of her royal birth mark on her collarbone. Living in a Palace as Prince or Princess should be every boy and girl's dream, but for Alexia, new traditions mean changing her way of living.

To being dressed by the royal family's dressmaker, Alexia must now learn how to wear a tiara and change her way of living, dressing according to the standards of her parents the King and Queen. On the night of her homecoming ball, Alexia must show and prove how properly trained she was to be a royal and to properly introduce herself as the Princess of Camden, Princess Alexia Del Norte. How will Alexia be able to live as an exclusive royal as well as having a Prince on her mind and going to school with her classmates? How will her schoolmates react to her news of being the missing Princess of Camden?
