Ripped from the only world she had known and sent into another one with no memories to guide her, Artemis struggled to grasp the dizzying environment she felt lost in.

Feeling unworthy, lost and afraid, Artemis navigates the life of mortals, all while understanding what the title Guardian of the Moon is supposed to mean.

A whirlwind of acceptance, growth, love of all forms, and clawing through despair to reach your full potential, Artemis refused to stand idle and let herself be weak.

With unknown powers and a limitless supply of determination, she danced through eras. She walked with royalty, and she lived years amongst only nature; fighting for the respect of the spirits despite her human aura.

Feeling alone, eventually she finds out a certain Frost-haired spirit needs help that she's finally allowed to give.

Quick to carry the world's burdens on her shoulders and slow to forgive her mistakes, Artemis will learn to seek comfort in an icy embrace.

But what happens when a long-standing friendship shifting between companions and enemies threatens to ruin her? When the Nightmare King is your first and oldest "friend", you're in serious trouble. There's so much more than what you see.

This story will eventually follow the plot of the movie, and then self-created plot in the beginning and onwards, along with original origin stories/and or twisted story lines to fit this fanfiction and such. Except for Jack Frost, of course.

Rated for teens just for some mild language and some violence.
