Only of You
Apparently love wasn't butterflies or poetry. It was being chained to the most irritating person you'd ever met, while wanting to kiss him, just to see what the inside of his mouth tastes like. Circa 1989. Billie Joe/OC
Sing To My Heart
Note: They are humans instead of animals. Sorry to anyone who thought it would be like beastars or like we got teleported to their world. This is a reader insert and they are all human. Will include swears, triggering/disturbing tropics, might have some heated moments. Read at your discretion. I don't own any of the characters or songs used in the story. Any songs that I say belongs to the reader is just for the story. All rights to the songs and characters (expect y/n) go to the rightful owners. Also this story was inspired by @OneArtsyGamer03 ,please go check out her stories since they are amazing. This is my original story but there are some similarities to her's, so please go show her stories some love because she definitely deserves it. Runawaying from Redshore city wasn't my plan but I felt trapped in that city. You never could make it unless you had connections or were from a famous family and that's not how I wanted it to go. I love to sing and my best friend got me into dance. Now I love going with the flow and letting the music take over my body. I ran away from my home with nothing but my skateboard, guitar and a back full with anything I could shove inside of it. Now I live in a studio apartment, making my own songs with choreography for them and casually posting the audio of the song or the actual dance video on the internet because why not. I work at a skate shop to help pay my bills and to stay out of trouble with the police since I've gotten in trouble with them a couple of times for street performing without a license. But like my best friend used to say, "You're only in trouble if you get caught" and I never did, so now I just chat up with them to pass some time or to help someone. When I heard of a singing competition I thought it couldn't hurt. I mean I might be able to win a nice prize and get some more publicity for my music, which was more important to me then some cash prize but it would be nice.Kumpleto

I'm Still Here (Ally/You)
Your heart was empty, it has been for 15 years and you kept coming back to that same old place you were told to stay. You knew that nobody will come but that's the only thing you can hold on to... their promise, a promise that they will come back and get you there. So you waited for someone who will never come. On the same day, 15 years later, a 'supposedly' typical day of waiting for the loved ones in your past, your path crossed with a beautiful Latina sitting on a bench not that far away from where you are. That changed the course of your life.Kumpleto![Beyond The Veil: Time Traveling through the Dark Ages [COUNTRYHUMANS]](https://img.wattpad.com/cover/367999605-256-k127751.jpg)
Beyond The Veil: Time Traveling through the Dark Ages [COUNTRYHUMANS]
On March 30, 2024, our school organized a field trip to an ancient museum. The anticipation was high as my cousin Miko and I eagerly took our seats on the bus. As the bus started moving, I decided to watch the newly released movie "Gomburza" on Netflix, while Miko plugged in his headphones and enjoyed some music. Around 1:07 PM, the Tourguide came up with an exciting idea to keep us entertained during the journey. They decided to organize games for us to enjoy while we were still taking the route to the museum. It was a fun way to pass the time and get to know our classmates better. After a few hours of traveling, we finally arrived at the museum. Miko and I were engrossed in a conversation when we suddenly realized that we had gotten separated from our classmates and teachers. Instead of panicking, we saw it as an opportunity for a little adventure. As we explored the museum, we stumbled upon a hidden path that seemed to lead to an ancient artifact. Our curiosity piqued, and we couldn't resist following the path to see where it would take us..

Just the Memories (Completed)
Okay. Let's be logical. What do I remember? The images in my head are soft but vivid-fingers trailing over my palm, laughter over a candlelit dinner, a whispered "I love you" against my ear. And the woman? I don't know her, but I feel like I do.Kumpleto

The Ecstasy of Sister Amata
Ten years after leaving their Catholic boarding school, three former classmates meet up at the headmistress's retirement, and find the past still has resonances in the present. This started as my attempt at the Open Novella Contest 2021 (20,000-40,000 words. This is at the upper end of this range.) It didn't get anywhere much, but it was an interesting experiment (and fun to plan and write). ** Music, particularly for organ, plays quite a rôle in this story. Instead of providing accompanying media, I'll list the pieces that feature here, for anyone who wants to chase them up. Apart from Beatrice's (which doesn't exist, obvs) they're all available on YouTube. -JS Bach: Passacaglia & Fugue in C minor (BWV 582) -JG Rheinberger: Sonata no.11 in D minor (Op.148), Cantilène - Adagio * Beatrice's recital: -JS Bach: Prelude & Fugue in G (BWV 541) -Dietrich Buxtehude: Two chorale preludes - 'Ach Herr, mich arme Sünder' (BuxWV 178) / 'Komm, heiliger Geist, Herre Gott' (BuxWV 199) -Joseph Rheinberger: Five Trios (Op.189 1-5) -Niels Gade: Tre Tonestykke (Op.22) -Maurice Duruflé: Suite pour orgue (Op.5): prélude -Beatrice Sullivan: Fantasia on 'Ave Maris Stella' -JS Bach: Chorale prelude on 'Mensch, bewein dein Sünde gross' (BWV 622) -Louis Vierne: Hymne au Soleil (Op.53) * For an idea of the sort of Passion setting Bea mentions in ch.8, try 'St Matthew Passion' by Orlando di Lasso. * (Written February-March-April 2021 )Kumpleto
