Shaji's life was great until his tenth birthday when everything started going downhill. He met a creature that is a fragment of his mind, the Shadow, that toyed with his reality. Normally, Shaji was a shy boy that played kickball with his friends outside, but the Shadow took that and everything else away. The Shadow led Shaji to commit murder, though Shaji claimed it wasn't him. Shaji claimed the Shadow slashed that person's throat, not him. Will Shaji beat his dark friend? Will he find justice? I saw this WP on Reddit, and I had a lightbulb moment. Since the age of 14, you've noticed a monster stalking you. A few years later, you've noticed it seems very protective over you and will go through extreme measures to protect you.
