everyone was sat round the campfire, everyone but the one and only Master Chief who sat a distance away near the cliffs edge trying to pick apart his own feeling but still at a loss. The arbiter invites his old friend to talk and hopefully ease johns racing thoughts.
Set after halo 5 when chief, arby and the other sit round a campfire and talk its in the book bad blood and i wanted to expand on it. In my fanfic though chief sits further away worrying over cortana and stuff so arby invites him over they talk for awhile reminiscing before the conversation turns sour and thel comforts john, yyaayyy -midnight

Nathan Eriksson, a closeted bisexual with overbearing internalized homophobia slowly falls for the outspoken gay man on campus, Graham Eide after running into him, quite literally in the Hall 28 stairwell, an awkward accident resulted in them interacting face-to-face for the first time in over a year, noticing each other nonstop around campus and outside afterward as if the universe was somehow bringing them together as friends- maybe more. A year prior, during Graham's first year of college, word got out that he was gay, and it quickly spread around campus due to Megan Fujikawa-Katz, a girl with a popular campus gossip blog, getting a hold of the information, and her best friend, Nathan Eriksson, twisting the knife further by encouraging and participating in verbally harassing Graham relentlessly. Sure, never getting physical, but not in a hurry to stop anyone from hurting Graham. But after a while, he slowly forgot about Graham, of course, he was in the back of his head, not for any weird reason, but how anyone would think about someone they "Disliked." But to his surprise, after an entire year had passed since then, Nathan on his way to work on an art project outside during a crisp fall day, trips and stumbles over someone sitting on the dormitory stairs, thudding down the rest of the cement steps down to the bottom, his eyes blurred before finally focusing on the person standing over him, watching their long brown hair hanging in front of their face as they bent down to see if he was okay. My first ever shooter game was Halo 3 and it opened my eyes to the potential all games held. Nearly every day, I'd spend my time playing Halo 3 until I could buy the other games. It was safe to say I had become a big fan of the series. And then one day when I was still just a kid, I made a wish. A wish that I could be apart of the story. I guess that's why you should be careful for what you wish for.

He carries a strict and scary aura around him which makes people think that he is a ruthless person. On the contrary he is quite the opposite from inside. And our female lead carries a carefree nature who doesn't care about anything but herself. She is a savage quick witted person who can do anything for her own survival if required. When these two polar opposites crosses path with, we can expect a lot of drama and action, eventually seeing these fall for each other.
