Dreams are such pure sources of wonder. They hold so much power in them. They control so much of us, without us giving them the power to do so. They show what we have always wanted and what we never really knew we needed. They're windows to another life and another world. It truly was a wondrous mystery.
And Amelia Waters knew this. She knew this so well. She could visit people's sleeping dreams after all.

Belonging
Anastasiya has been alone since before she could remember. She's used to abuse, to torment, to being a victim to bullies and their nasty ways. She doesn't have a family, and she's okay with that. That's the way it's always been. Until it isn't. She's pulled out of her school lesson on the day of her thirteenth birthday by her new guardian: her oldest brother. "He seemed like a puzzle to me, and I really liked solving puzzles. But somehow, I don't think that I would ever be able to solve this one." Amelia Heart, with her large smile and her infectious laugh, is what most people would think has the perfect life. They would watch as she went back to her beach house, as she went out of her way to stop and chat to her neighbours, as she would get the perfect grades. She was everything you wanted to be, and yet nobody had gotten close enough to her to understand her life in this small town at all. When her plans of leaving suddenly change, and she is forced to start attending the local school, her life takes a route that she hadn't accounted for. A new group of friends, a chance at a normal teenage life, even a potential love interest - things that Amelia had never even thought about happening after everything she'd been through. But happiness is only temporary in her life, and she knew that. It wasn't surprising to her when her past began to catch up with her present, it was simply a good thing that it had taken as long as it had. Things start happening in Amelia's life that simply don't make sense, even to her. They do say you should always keep an eye over your shoulder, especially when you know you're being hunted, but for Amelia, even an eye in every direction wouldn't be enough. Time begins counting down, fast. Did she want to involve her friends? Could the new people in her life be trusted? She wouldn't have long to make a decision.
