You ever hate people for no reason? Just based off what they do just annoys you to no end? Well for me it's Superheroes. I hate how they seek attention from the world and bathe in its glory, but until one unfaithful night where I am practically mugged and saved by these famous beings, I learn a little more than I should. Like the fact I wasn't saved by the heroes, but a villain. Hi, I'm Hope Dale and this is the story of me Unmasking The Supervillain.

Heroes at Heart
"I've tried telling them I'm only fifteen. That no sane government would force a boy my age to fight crime. 'But Max, you're a superhero! Isn't this what you want?' Actually, no. I just kind of want to get through high school. Then we'll talk about this 'superhero' business." Max Owens is your average high school sophomore. Well, he tries to be, at least. At fifteen, he's got more important things to do than fight the infamous Vinicus Cauldwell. With his single mother having recently lost her job, Max is determined to help his family get back up on its feet. The publicity and pressure that comes with being a superhero would be too much to handle right now. But it's hard to fly under the radar, when you can literally fly. Meanwhile, Vinicus Cauldwell enjoys the power he has as Murkbourne's most feared super-villain. For once, he can sit back and relax without being pestered by the police. That is, until Max arrives. Vinicus isn't happy about having to fight a child, but he can't let Max find out. After all, super-villains can't be "good people"... Can they? We can't all be born heroes. When a weak superhero meets a morally grey supervillain, who shall triumph? The answer may be something none of them had ever expected. Lol this is my story! It is definitely cringey because I'm bad at dialogue, and the running gag of the story is that I will use every conceivable romantic trope. Honestly just please don't give up on it too quickly, I promise it gets better. It is gay. Also, if you showed up from Pinterest I love you. SEQUEL TO LOVING A VILLAIN There were sparks when we met, but not the kind that you would think. One look at him quite literally knocked me out. Seriously. I was unconscious. He was not some shining hero on a white horse, who swooped in and saved the day. No he put the Hero's head through a wall and laughed. Overall, he and I are a complete shit show. Complete. Shit show. He isn't nice. Or kind. Or hell, even legally decent. And he sure as hell isn't sane. Through all his shitty qualities, the villainous attitude, and even all the multiple attempts on my life. I fell for the villain of the century. My damn luck. Blue Doom. But did we get the semi-happy ending? Or at least the one you're suppose to get when you end up with the villain of the story. But no. I'm not like wonder woman, supergirl or catwoman. The only similarity we share is that we all have an extraordinary ability and are females. Many people would say having superpowers was a gift from god and the best thing that could ever happen to you. But not for me, being able to freeze time was more of a burden, because I couldn't control it and it had the worst timing to appear. We all were hiding in random places, apparently any place we could find. There were a ton of zombies, the whole place was full of them. Many people from our group were lost to the virus. Muffled voices, blurred vision and heavy breathes were heard. The ship which everyone had longed for soon arrived. The plan was to run to the ship and never look back. The ferry was anchored at the harbor and on the signal, everyone ran for their precious lives, not daring to look back. Some people couldn't make it in 'The End' .
