What draws the line between a hero and a villain? Or even a hero and vigilante, or anti-hero? That's what Joseph Adrol needs to find out. The high school student has a secret persona, Mindlocke, who is clearly a somewhat popular hero. Yet, when he is saved from a group of thugs while trying to stop a hostage situation, he is forced to answer the question: What defines a hero?

Can anyone really define what a hero is? Can anyone really completely understand what makes a hero? These are questions a lot of people ask themselves, many make guesses as to what a hero is... Or what they're supposed to be... To me a hero is someone who ran head first into danger without thinking twice, putting other people before themselves.
