World of Horror & Stone ~Year Two

The summer holidays have been, for Ashlynn, an enjoyable one. She's worked in the once withered apple orchard that the townspeople whispered to be cursed - now fully hale and healthy - with her father and mysterious Aunt Lilan, chats with a boy who has been dead longer than she has been alive, and visited with her close friend, Ronald Weasley. But just as they're all packing their bags to return to Hogwarts, Harry for tells of a warning given to him by a strange, impish creature named Dobby: Should Harry return to Hogwarts, disaster will strike.

And strike it does. For in her second year at Hogwarts, fresh torment and horrors arise, including an outrageously stuck-up new professor, Gilderoy Lockhart; a spirit named Moaning Myrtle who haunts the girl's bathroom; and a dangerous, slightly unlawful transformation that will change her life forever.

But each of these seem to be nothing more than minor annoyances when the real trouble begins, and someone - or something - starts turning Hogwarts students to stone. Could it be Draco Malfoy, a more poisonous rival than ever? Could it possibly be Hagrid, whose mysterious past is finally told? Or could it be the one everyone at Hogwarts most suspects . . . Harry Potter himself?
