Hopeless Love

What would you do when you're experiencing one-sided love? Or should I say, hopeless love.
It hurts that the person you like doesn't feel the same way about you.
The only thing you could do is watch them be happy and wish for their happiness.
But what about your happiness?

"You'll be happy if they're happy.", they said.
"Be happy for them and God will give you happiness too.", they said.
"Why are you being selfish? It's your own best friend and you should be happy.", they said.

Yes, I fell in love with my best friend. And it hurts. People say when you're in love, you'll feel happy and butterflies in your stomach but I don't feel that way.
Jealousy, anger, sad, hurt. That's all I could feel when I'm in love right now.
