Oakley Russo has been living a pretty difficult life up until now. When his father passed away, it seemed like he lost two parents instead of just one. Now, with anger issues that seem to get worse with every passing day, he has to fight the demons that hide inside him. Add in some idiotic bullies that don't seem to leave him alone even after he breaks their nose, and you have a recipe for disaster. He hides behind his sarcastic remarks and books, not letting the world see just how broken he is. Jasper Zander looks and acts like the tough kid with a tough past who doesn't give a shit about anything. He acts out against his parents, for reasons they could never understand. The only way he can express his anger against the world is through punches and little acts of rebellion, but that just doesn't seem to be enough for him sometimes. Throw in a leather jacket and some cigarettes, and you have the perfect image of the bad boy we all love. He hides behind his glares and smirks, not letting the world see just how broken he is. Will these two broken boys be able to fix each other, or will they just break even more? Welcome to the broken boys club.

"Damn it, Mason, you can't fix me. I'm not some used car that needs an oil change." I'm standing at the edge of my driveway. If I take one step towards that house, then I go back to my life. The life I've had since Mason left. Since he abandoned me. If I turn around. If I take one second to look into his eyes. I don't think I'll be able to resist throwing myself in his arms. "I'm shattered, Mason. Like a dusty vase that's been ignored for too long." "You know the best thing about broken vases, Mel? You just need three things to make them whole." I decide to go along with his speech. "Faith, trust, and pixie dust?" I muse. "Tape, glue, and someone willing to fix it. And I'm right here, Mel."
