Paranormal
"I may be in a wheelchair but I will still end you!" I, Jacinth Adeline Delaney has the honorary enjoyment of enduring the life in a wheelchair, with constant, unbearable pain throughout my entire body and throughout my life. As well as this, I grew up knowing the myth and legends of mermaids, vampires, werewolves, faeries and witches are real, very very real-just as every person now knows in the fine and 'accepting' age of 2018. They live among us humans, accepted by society and sometimes even praised and worshipped. They have normal jobs, welcomed into schools and universities and are huge public figures as celebrities. We normal mortals call them "magics." Now imagine, just trying to make it through university studying for an art degree, living with your mom and her boyfriend as you grow used to the stares and the constant belittlement by every magic out there along with the human population all because you are in a wheelchair. When you accidentally stumble upon a group of magics, planning to destroy the human race as we know it....my luck allowing that happen to me. But even worse, they catch me listening, nearly kill me. And am saved by a vampire, that works in an undercover agency and said agency forcing you to be under witness protection with that same vampire as my bodyguard. Why I am always placed in the worst possible situations? Not quite sure. However accepting my fate, a mere mortal girl that has severe pain throughout every part of her body must now fight against immortals with magic powers and superhuman strength? Ha...... Sounds fun.... ....please save me.....

She was the type to stare herself in the mirror and see someone else stare back. Someone who was free and light, being able to spread her wings like an unbound angel. She was neither chained to Heaven nor Hell. Howbeit, no matter how far she reached into the mirror, she could never step through as her ball-and-chain presented itself in the form of a crown. She was a princess with two faces, desperately trying to have a sense of freedom outside of her royal obligations. She found it in the form of a weakness: a passion with another human being. Her love for him and ballet had kept her chin high; her crown not slipping from her pastel hair. So why, why did it suddenly become so hard when a gothic gymnastic back-flipped into her life? Why were her heartstrings being tugged on by someone of her same gender? Why was it suddenly so difficult, so strenuous to keep living in her pastel world when this mysterious girl brought such bright colours with her? TRIGGER WARNING: Mentions of sex, suicide and other mature themes will be contained within this book. Read at your own discretion.
