When Frisk was about to have a rematch with Asgore, they accidentally pressed True Reset. The world glitched, and both Frisk and Chara were sent to another dimension, the 'K' dimension, filled with different monsters with different personalities. Filled with determination, they must now survive in a different world and get back up the surface.

Soon after that, Chara joins a new family, but their ambition to keep everyone happy goes a little overboard and Chara is flung into a reality of destruction and hopeless wonder. Then many long years later they meet the beloved Frisk, who fell into the Underground, similar to themselves. What she didn't expect was to find that her coming back there, combined Flowey's laments, had somehow awoken a certain Fallen Human from death.
