"ahhh!" I screamed before pushing him off the bed. With my heart racing, I clutched my white pillow to my chest even though I was not naked. White pillow? I don't own anything white for obvious reasons. " Ughh! You're more violent when you're awake." My idiot of a cousin said as he tried massaging his back. " What are you doing in my bed?" I yelled at him. I know he is family but he is a guy. And I don't like having guys this close to me, alone, in my room. " In your bed?" he scoffed before adding " check again Kelly." It was then I noticed I was not in my bed, not in my grandma's, not even in my dad's. It was... Ben's. No no no! Please don't tell me I.... " Yeah. You sleepwalked to my room" he must have guessed my thoughts when he saw the horrified expression I had on my face. " I don't sleepwalk." I said stubbornly. I know I did but I wouldn't give him the satisfaction of admitting. The thing was... I started sleepwalking after he relocated to UK. I would always find myself in his room in the morning whenever I stayed at grandma's house. I guessed I missed him that much. But now he is here, I don't understand how I ever missed him. He took off his T-shirt. Showing off his drool - worthy body. Instead of finding my way out, what do you think I did? I sat down rooted to the bed, staring at his body. What broke the trance was the cocky smirk on his face. Trust me. When a guy is cute and he doesn't know, that's very adorable. But when he looks good and he knows, that is the spelling of danger. *** Christmas is near! Who is excited? Everyone but Kelechi. After a break up, Christmas excitement is not what she needs. Definitely not her entire dysfunctional family in one place. Especially not her cousin Ben who she is attracted to. Quick question: When you are attracted to your cousin, is it love or lust?

Muhammad thought of Madeenah as a child, younger than his baby sister, although way more mature. She seemed to have created a bond with his daughter and that was all that came to his mind about her. Not her smooth caramel skin, or her captivating light brown eyes and neither did her sweet voice do it for him. Madeenah thought of Ya Muhammad as an arrogant and stoic person but a really good father. In truth she was terrified of him. She hated the way he would look at her, as though she was less important than him. She hated the way he never spoke unless he needed to. She hated the way his voice washed over her, making her shiver. She hated his height and how it made him tower over her small frame. She hated him but she just couldn't stop thinking about him. So what happens when the two end up being brought together by an unusual arrangement . He's older, she's younger. He has a daughter and she has barely begun life. Will he let go of the past and try to find happiness or will he drag her down with him? --------------------------------------- "Let's get married." He says with such a straight face that I feel stupid as I chuckle. "What did you just say?" I ask in disbelief. "You heard me Madeenah." He says in a gravelly tone. "Why would you want to marry me?" I shake my head. "You don't like me." "I like you well enough to be married to you." His broad shoulders shrug in his familiar black suit. What is going on with him? And what have I gotten myself into?

She felt his warm palm on her wrist and at once she was facing him. Without warning, his lips engulfed hers, setting her on fire just like she did him. His lips were warm and soft and she revelled in it as she shut her eyes, her body instantly warming up to the kiss. She wrapped her arms around him, marvelling at how their bodies fit perfectly together. It felt so good, like her head was rotating. Nothing else mattered. Just the two of them. This was all she needed. Someone who accepted her for her. Her flaws, her beauty, herself, hook line and sinker. As she stared into his eager eyes, she knew she loved him but she couldn't help thinking she was doing the wrong thing. She loved him, but it wasn't fair to his girl. She could do anything, run, apologise, but she followed her heart. She drew him back and continued the kiss. A Nigerian themed story bound to leave you yearning for the next chapter.
