Kathryn Morgan knew what it meant to keep to herself. She never had friends over. Never went to parties, or hung out at the mall--never even had a boyfriend. 14-year-old Katie knew how to blend in and she was alright with that. It wasn't until the summer before high school when her parents decided to go on a six-week tour of Europe without her, sending her to Camp Crestfalls Summer Camp that her life would be forced to change. What Katie worried about was whether these changes would be for the worse or the better... This coming of age tale told from the perspective of Katie is about discovering what it means to come out of one's shell.
