The war between Heaven and Hell has been wreaking havoc all over Earth for eight years.

The borders between Heaven, Hell, and Earth have broken, resulting in a catastrophic war between angels and demons, with the humans stuck in the middle and forced to choose sides.

Some may side with the angels, and their promise of a life of holy devotion and everlasting paradise.

Others may side with the devils, and their offer of a life where you can do whatever you want, whenever. As long as you paid your dues to the king of Hell, of course.

Day Clemons doesn't want anything to do with the war. Sure, he kills demons, and occasionally fights with angels but, other than that, he has nothing against either of them. He just wants to live his life, by himself. But, when he gets pulled into the middle of something he couldn't have avoided or expected, Day starts to think that maybe his part in the war was destined to be greater than he originally thought

Basil is an angel with many secrets. He doesn't think much of his angel siblings, less of humans, and doesn't listen to rules very well. His fellow angels have a problem with that, which he never cares much of. But when the human girl he's supposed to be guarding has fallen into trouble, Basil knows for certain that he'd do anything to help her.

Two different races, two different lives, but two purposes that are more alike than either of them may think. They both thought they knew exactly who they were and what they wanted. Basil and Day aren't too sure about what side they stand on anymore.All Rights Reserved

She has now entered a world where chaos, lies, hurt, death and truth reside and will find herself in a place where though decisions are thrown at her. So, What will she do when she's being chased down by enemies that seek to take her innocent life? Can she trust a man, she never knew, to protect her? Can she....survive? We run away from something I don't know. I just know that there is something that was pulling me through a deep unknown darkness. But he was there and now we are running away. I said those words and I couldn't stop myself not to feel the bitterness of the truth we are going to face. But still I hold her hand even though I know that it isn't right. We run and I save her. Yet, I don't know it was the beginning and I don't want to find out the ending. Still, the end is near and I cannot hold her even though my heart already belongs to her.
