On November 27th, in the year of 2015, the sun is so bright that after a while all the light runs out. The sun is still there, but is only a black, burned-out sphere in the middle of space. So are the moon and the stars. Flashlights refuse to turn on. The electricity goes out and making fires is suddenly only a thing of the past. 
It’s a  terrifying, pitch-black new world. Most people walk around dazed and confused at their sudden blindness. Some, though, go insane and turn into criminals. The main targets of these people? Elle, Diana, and Luke. These three are the only ones who can see past the blindness. They have light. And some people don't approve of that.

Will she find it or will Senka, the darkness win? A light... a ball of light. Everyone is born with it The loudness overwhelmed her sense of doom became more and more..real. Like she wasn't going to be okay. The sound seem to get loud the crowds laughter and talking seems to be turned up. Her vision blurred as she couldn't see anymore..as if she was crying. And she was. She was crying and it wasn't the happy crying that people have or the sad crying.. But the crying about how disappointed she was for herself.. How she failed again. The at feeling..it got worse...it got way worse to the point where she couldn't breathe. And as she stood there..in the middle of the crowd losing sense of herself...it was at this moment..the light that she had..it went out..and she knew only darkness.

No one could fully trust her, not that it'd matter anyway because Dream trusts no one except herself. So, when they receive a message which sends them to the very top of the hotel. Floor 31. They are forced to fight and kill zombies and monsters just for a chance of safety. But does this 'safety' even exist?

Warning: this is the old version (which you hopefully realized by the title). The new version is very much different, much more thought out and outlined. It hasn't been posted yet (still needs to be written and then lots of revising). I'd say enjoy this version while it's still posted... but honestly, it's rather rocky as I sort of jumped into the book without a plan, clear plot, or anything.
