In the world of Ifune there is little magic. The only magic available is by magical items, more commonly weapons. Each weapon has a different magical power and a different name. The five kingdoms of Ifune want these magical weapons away from the peasantry because if one peasant has even a little bit of magic they will revolt. Knowing this the five kingdoms knight people for the sole purpose of finding and controlling these magical weapons. 

Eli Longflane always wanted to be a knight, he dreamed about it all his life. Unfortunately he was the son of a blacksmith, the lowest class of peasantry, and only the sons of high rank officials can train to be a knight. That was until he explored the forest and found a magical rapier named Vine.
