A woman cannot rule the Kingdom of Vivelle. If a king should only have daughters, then the princesses are to participate in a Queens Trial. A series of tests to see who is most worthy of becoming the Queen Victorious. The Winning daughter will marry a suitor of the king's choosing. Once married, her husband will become king. The losing queens will be sacrificed back to the people as punishment for their ancestor's crimes. Or more specifically, the crimes of the Mad Queen.

Princess Illyana is the eldest of the king's five daughters. In a few days time, the Queens Trial will begin and there are only two possible outcomes. The first is she will fail and get sacrificed. The second is she will win and be forcibly wed to a cruel man and live the rest of her life knowing she is alive because her sisters are dead. 

Illyana wants more. She wants to rule the Kingdom of Vivelle with her sisters by her side. 
She only has a few days left to come up with a plan before the Trial begins. With the whole kingdom watching eagerly to see which daughter wins, it is going to be almost impossible for Illyana to change the minds of a nation so that she can sit on the throne. 


Warning! Rated Mature as there will be violence, gore and themes of a sexual nature. 
Lots of parts, but not long chapters. :)

And from the ashes, a queen will rise. I'm tryna make a book so this is pretty much my first attempt. I'll post like the first three chapters and if people like it I'll post more. Thousands of centuries ago humans, vampires, and werewolves lived together in harmony, considering one equal to the other. Ruled by a council of three kings, with one from each fullblood race, peace endured for quite some time. All of it was destroyed when many years later the new vampire and werewolf kings both wanted to rule over the kingdom alone. A massive war broke out between the vampires and the werewolves and millions of lives were lost. In a last attempt to stop the war one hundred years later, the land was divided into three kingdoms, the vampires, humans and werewolves. The borders were shut, crossbreeding was forbidden since it created halfbloods and demons and each kingdom was led by the king of their respective race. In secret, however, it was decided that the human king would watch over them all to prevent another war from ever happening again. Since the human kingdom laid inbetween the other two, the humans invented technology to keep all the races at bay and trained the warriors of their army as skilled hunters. As time and generations went by, the kingdoms became more isolated and the common humans forgot that supernatural beings even existed. However, the war had never truly been resolved so the hatred that the vampires and werewolves had for each other endured. When a mysterious murder occurs, chaos breaks out within the kingdoms. A throne must be taken, blood must be shed, a choice must be made and all must be answered by a girl with purple eyes.
