Quinnette never wanted to be the spotlight. She always wanted to be left alone to her devices away from the social expectations of her family. She already defied them by becoming a scientist who spends four months of her year in the freezing climate of Antartica studying ice cores and taking pictures of the wildlife and landscape when she can. "But please Quinn, they've had a long tour and they barely got to spend time in Australia!" That voice belonged to the ravishing and beautiful Camille, famous younger sister of Quinnette, begging to let One Direction stay in the secluded prodigious house on the Queensland coast of Australia. She never could say no to her younger sister and that was her biggest flaw. Despite Camille being a pestering child, never, not once has Quinnette been able to refuse an offer. So after relenting and allowing the five cute boys to stay, the best that Quinn can wish for is isolation. After all, they are Camille's friends and not hers. But six extra people living in her house is hard to avoid. It doesn't take long for friendships to be forged and relationships to begin and predicaments to unfold over the summer. Because it only takes one boy to show her that its ok to need someone. It only takes one boy to show her that she doesn't have to be alone. One boy to take away the safety net and show her how to fall. But can he catch Quinnette, or is her introverted nature going to get the worst of both of them? Copyright [© 2014.
