Access to light, clean bedding, or a warm meal was considered a privilege within the structures of Hydra. A glimpse of these comforts could only be granted to a soldier who followed orders. Peter was not one of them. With his thin limbs, the malnourished twelve-year-old was on the brink of death from exhaustion and starvation. It seemed that his days were numbered, and he himself longed for death. At least, that's what he believed-until a threat from the outside emerged, the one his superiors had warned him about: the Avengers. Yet for some unclear reason, this group wanted to save him. Especially Tony Stark, the Merchant of Death, saw something in him that Peter himself could not see.
