Keith Kogane has been letting his anger control his whole life. Causing him to get in trouble with the law more times than he can count. Though once he gained his first patrol officer at 15, things only went down hill from there.
After finding himself in a "Youth Dentition Center" at the age of 17, it only adds onto the anger he holds. He desperately doesn't want to be there. And so far non of the therapies the Dentition Center has offered has helped Keith in anyway. Only making him angrier.
But luckily Shiro, his patrol officers comes up with the "Polarized Therapy" method. Since Keith is hot headed and angry, he will be paired up with some whose easing going and happy. The complete polar of him. Hoping that their personality will rub off on Keith, and help him find a new out look in life.
And who is that person Keith is paired with?
No other than Lance McClain.

Sometimes people are a lot different then you think. The first minute Lance steps into his new school he's warned about Keith Kogane. They say he's like the devil, the meanest guy you will ever meet. You better stay away from him otherwise you could get on his bad side, and then your life is over. Lance isn't the guy to judge people just because people talk about that person. But they seem to be right, as a moment later Keith throws a freshman on the ground for speaking to him. That is a sign for Lance to never even look at this guy.
