Bernadette Smith is your typical British girl with a typical British name.... well, at least in the public eye. Bernadette is exquisite; she is a dreamer, a doer and a writer. When the opportunity comes knocking to fulfil her dream as a famous author, she books her ticket to New York without a moment to think. She has never left her homeland but this is the only chance that Bernadette can truly find her place in society and truly discover who she really is.

Thawda Myitzu has always dreamed about seeking for success in the independent and open-minded city that never sleeps, that is, of course, New York. She believes that her works would never be discovered if she stays in her homeland, Myanmar. She fears that she would get hatred for pursuing a foreign writing career instead of her mother language, so, she packs her bags.
