"It matters not how strait the gate
how charged with punishments the scroll
I am the master of my fate
I am the captain of my soul."

"My name is Aaron Williams. I do hope we could have met under different circumstances, but as it is I welcome you to my home. To whom do I have the pleasure of speaking?"
The girl stared at him for what might have been a full minute.
"Your home? This… cave is your home?"
Aaron frowned, straightening. "Cave? I'll have you know this is a fine crypt, young lady. Very fine indeed. You probably don't care about all the minutiae of its expensive construction, but—"
"Crypt?" she repeated, horrified. "We're in a crypt?"
"Did you know that repeating things is considered a sign of lack of intelligence?"
"Williams…" she mused, her eyes darting around. "I know that name. Williams. Williams… oh. Oh God."

"I think that's the best part about music. It's like time travel you know? Going back to the past, or sometimes even visualizing the future...what we could be." "What about the sad moments?" I asked softly. "Nobody wants to re-live those." "Maybe not, but that's the entirety of it," he answered, raising his hand to brush away the hair from my face before tucking it behind my ear. "There's always good in the bad, and bad in the good. Balance." His fingers trailed down my arm, sending shock waves through me. "Can I tell you something?" I asked softly. The corner of his lips curved upwards in a small smile. "You can tell me anything."

"I don't care if it's your fight... because for you my love, only for YOU... I am ready to take all the pain, even the one that isn't meant for me," ---------------------------------------- Sitting in her car she made her way towards a specific place, a place where no living being wants to visit... at least till they are alive. Parking the car she stepped outside feeling the cold ground under her feet, with her trembling legs she made her way to a specific spot, she moved like a lifeless body, like a body without soul... falling on her knees... she screamed, a scream so loud, so painful that no one can imagine, she clenched her chest in a fist trying to ease the pain, but the burning sensation wasn't ready to calm anytime soon. "who did this to you?", "who could be such a monster to do this to you?" She asked with hopes, but... how can a greave speak?. She looked in front but everything was blocked by the tears in her eyes. Wiping her tears, she looked at the name engraved on it... 'WINTER ISABELLA PERKINS'. With a whisper she said, "I promise... promise to avenge your death... they will suffer, the same way you did". Standing up, she looked at the grave for the last time and spoke, "Now, I will only come here when I have given those monsters what they deserve, till then... please try to forgive me". She made her way outside while dialing someone's number on her phone. Within 4 rings the other side picked up, without waiting for a reply she ordered, "I want to shift my university branch from Orlin to GlenWood", "Why?" the other side asked, "I'll explain it to you later", "But it-" before the person could ask something she hung up. Starting the engine, she went back to her house with nothing but... VENGEANCE in her mind. ---------------------------------------- But how her life will turn, when someone unexpected becomes a part of her fight.

Wren's life is about to change forever - but not how she expects it to. Kidnapped on her wedding day, she finds herself trapped in a mountain cave, unable to return home with no company outside of the inhuman creature that took her. *** "Wait, Wren! Not that way!" It was darker here and panic limited her vision, but she could see it reaching for her; its wings like two huge looming shadows behind it. "Get away! Don't touch me! No, let me go!" She shrieked. She screamed in earnest as a hand took hold of her arm, and then even more when her own hand reached for something to hang onto and grasped at empty air. She had been scrambling towards a sudden drop! The hands hauled her back, but she still struggled. She didn't want to look at it, and she still wasn't sure she wouldn't rather take her chances with the open air instead. "Stop it, I'm not going to hurt you! You'll hit your head on the rock or something. Wren, please!" It knew her name. Somehow it knew her. She was going to die! "Let me go! Stop touching me!" She was sitting on the rocky floor now with her back against an uneven wall, and it was trying to pin her down and hold her still. She kept her eyes turned away and struggled helplessly, but it was no use. It was strong like a human man too, and she couldn't keep it off of her. The wings had moved until they curved around them both and shut out a lot of the light. Its face was so near hers that she could feel its breath brushing against her skin. "Please just look at me for a second. Just look. I'm not going to hurt you." One of the hands grabbed her chin and forced her head to turn, and then she was looking straight into a pair of dark brown eyes. It had a human face too. She had been expecting something monstrous or ghastly, and the surprise made her falter for a moment. He looked young, with a bad haircut and an earnest expression on his face. "I'll let go of you, okay? Just don't lunge around like that anymore, you'll get hurt." He whispered.
