Selene had always been a quiet person. She kept to herself most of the time, unless she was on stage or with her two best friends. She lit up in either situation. That was ended when she was walking home one night from a karaoke night at the bar. Her friends had convinced her to go because it was Reign's birthday. She had started to feel sick so she decided to walk back to her apartment. She never made it back though.
She woke up in a dingy room, wearing a dress that wasn't hers. She was confused and didn't know how she ended up there. She soon realized what had happened and what her new role in life was to be - a blood bag.

Derek had been born into the royal family of vampires. His dad was 568 years old and his mom was not much younger. Derek was only 76 years old but looked 25. He would never age another day. He hadn't yet found a wife but was looking. Not because he actually wanted one, but because his dad wouldn't give him the crown without one. He had been trained his entire life to be a king so be told not yet, did not sit well with him. He was angry and in a hurry to find someone who would be obedient enough to listen to him, while also being beautiful enough to sit beside him on the thrown.
