Luna is a 15 year old girl living in Cresswell Pilot, in a large (poor) suburban community. She attends Pilot High and she's dealing with a lot. Visions of people and strange subjects keep her up at night. She doesn't want to deal with all the strange occurrences that have happened to her, but she thinks it's time to stop ignoring them.
Involved in a series of mysteries and crimes, Luna has to strive forth, she has to accept her life.

They drove past a single tall scraggly tree on top of a hill shrouded in mist. The creepy tree was full of screaming crows. How could she hear them from inside the bus when she couldn't even seem to hear the voices of the kids around her? Geez, that was an awfully freaking dark image. She shivered and looked away. What did they call a group of crows again? Right, a murder of crows. Perfect.
