The phrase "be careful what you wish for" is really accurate. When I would read Twilight or some other fantasy book, I would wish that I was more than "just" a human. Because I used to think I was one, when my biggest problem was what to wear to school. But then I found out that I'm not human at all, when my mom had this not-so-amazing idea to move away from our home in North Carolina to Scotland. On my sixteenth birthday. What better present was there than to be able to travel across the world and have a fresh start , right? Wrong.

I hated thinking about being exterminated because I made my owner unhappy. I thought to myself that I would try real hard to keep him happy.
