Nothing will ever be permanent. You could be head over heels for a certain person today and suddenly, after a split second, your worlds could be of different wave lengths - A lover today, a stranger tomorrow.
Even the love that you thought would last forever could fade away in an instant. What if it comes to the point that because of an unavoidable circumstance, both of you would lose the memory you shared over the years? Would the ring be the key  for you to eventually remember?
