"What if I can't ever find the light? What if I'm so damaged that the sun will never shine down me again, " my voice crumbled like whatever crumbs of happiness were left in me. I hadn't realized how damaged I was until that moment. Under his hazel eyes I felt so fragile like I was breaking slowly but surely a part of me wanted to trust him and let him hold me the other part of me wanted nothing to do with him. "Peach you are my light I look at you and it's like I found my sunshine, my reason of existing on this god awful world. Look I don't know what all you have been through but I promise I'll never do anything to hurt you I'm here as long as you'll have me," Clay whispered softly pushing the piece of hair that fell across my tear stricken face. He was right though. He had no idea what I have been through. I could only pray that all that had happened was a bad dream. ~~~~ Elizabeth-Jane McKenna who preferred being called Peaches, was a lost girl just trying to find her meaning in the world. After her parents passed away, she thought life couldn't get any worse until she met John whom she thought would be her savior ended up crushing any light that was left.
