A long time ago an adventurer found gems that had the ability to tame any beast living in the Taigra. He had the power to let anyone at the age of 15 get their spirit animal. Only that spirit animal would be considered to be mythological. Gryphons, phoenixes, nagas, even one to be considered dangerous, such as a windego.
