There was a loud crack as the whip made contact with my skin, and I let out another cry. The towering figure stopped and harshly grabbed me by the collar around my neck. He leaned down, lips brushing against the edge of my ear, and in a low voice he whispered, "You see what you did? This is all your fault. We had the world at our fingertips, but you threw it all away." Pack daughter Aisleen is invited to Beta Corban's ball, which he holds to find his mate. On her way out, she bumps into Corban, and she realizes that she has find her mate. As Corban introduces Aisleen to her new home, she greets Alpha Icarus, and sparks fly. How is this possible? Tensions grows as Icarus and Corban start fighting over their mate. What will Aisleen do? Who will she choose?

"But I think we both know that there is no choice to make" I finished as the rain stopped abruptly leaving us with distant howling deep in the forest. My mind was made up. I've been told by many that I can be a very indecisive person. But this, this is definitely not something that I had to ponder for long. My decision had been made. I think, deep down, from the moment I laid eyes on him I knew. I am rejecting the Alpha of the Silver Moon Pack.
